Photographs capture moments in time. I like to take portraits that also capture a bit of personality. Allowing people to feel comfortable in a setting of their choice, enables me to do so. This is especially true when it comes to children. By photographing outdoors, at your home, or a favorite locale I am able to produce natural portraits that you will cherish for years to come.
As a parent, I am more than aware of how quickly families grow. Each year seems to go by faster and faster. What better way to cherish all of the special stages of your family's life by having an annual family portrait done. Some people like them a bit more formal, while others prefer a casual feel. Whatever your style may be, I can accomodate your needs.

The first year of your baby's life is full of some of the most dramatic changes and growth. A great way to record this is with the "watch me grow" collection. Your child is photographed 4 times during his/her first year of life. This can either be done at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months or newborn, 3, 6 and 12 months.

After studying photography throughout eight years of education, followed by three years of professional work experience, I started Seegers Images in 2002.
As a freshman in high school, I took my first black and white photography class and fell in love with taking pictures. Being able to capture pieces of life on film and produce prints just the way I wanted them became my passion. During college I was able to participate in a three week January term course at The Ghost Ranch in Albuquerque, NM, and that is where my skills truly developed. I later returned to assistant teach the same course.
After graduating from Eckerd College in 1998, I moved to North Carolina and started working for a family owned photography business in Raleigh. This is where I learned the business side of photography as well as how to photograph weddings and portraits. Three and a half years later, I moved to Maine to marry my husband, Jeremy, and that's when I started my business, Seegers Images.
Since then we have made several moves around the country. We now live in Lakewood, CO and we are very happy here. Jeremy and I have 2 little boys, 2 dogs, 2 fire belly toads and a bunch of fish. Life couldn't get much better!
As a mother of two the camera is always accessable. Capturing children's natural personalities is what I truly love to do. Documenting the many aspects of family growth is very important to me because I realize how quickly life goes by.
