Today there are so many options for wedding photography. Most importantly, the prospective bride and groom, looking for a quality photographer, must choose a person that can capture the style they desire. The ideal photographer is able to blend in with the guests and take photographs that the bride and groom will look at and cherish for years and years to come.

I believe that a combination of classic and photojournalistic photography is the best approach. Creating photographs that range from the smallest details of the wedding day, to the large family and group photographs, is my specialty.  Posing people in unnatural positions tends to make many people feel uncomfortable.  That is not my objective.

However, I do think it is very important to take family photographs that can be cherished forever.  I make sure to learn about all family members ahead of time.  This enables me to spend minimal time photographing between the ceremony and the reception.  My average time for this is only 15-20 minutes.

Film quality is also a primary concern and that is why I use medium format film for a sharper image. My black and white photojournalistic work is done with a 35mm camera so that I can capture a wide range of images quickly and indiscreetly.

Last, but certainly not least, is the wedding album. I produce a finished professional quality album with the images selected by the bride and groom.

Some wedding couples may be looking for a photographer who just gives them the negatives and lets them put an album together on their own.  I do not do this, because I have found that too many people have the tendency to let the negatives or proofs sit around while they wait for the appropriate time to be able to do a layout, order all the prints, and assemble the album.

This task is more complicated than most people realize until they try to accomplish it on their own and spend several months in the process.  The layout and assembly alone, can take a professional several days.

Rather than having a wedding album for an anniversary present, I like to produce your completed album approximately 6-8 weeks after the order has been placed.  This time frame has proven to be quite impressive with my clients.

Your finished album will have memories to last a lifetime.
I offer a variety of packages starting at $1,225.
